On Valentine’s Day my husband and
I attended a married couple’s dinner hosted by our church family. Our
table was of course the most vibrant as we were the “young couples table” or as
I’ve been told frequently “the honeymooners”. My point of view, there’s absolutely nothing
wrong with that. I believe all married folks should keep the HONEY and the
MOON. Can I get a witness!!! (hands in
the air).
Always celebrate the union, so
let’s talk about SEX! Is that all a honeymoon is about? NO, but it is important Great SEX = Great
Marriage #bible.com (Hebrews
13:4 (KJV) )
For my ladies a few things you
can do to make your marriage/sex life enjoyable:
·
Purchase him some flowers (it’s not a taboo men
like flowers too)
·
A bath with rose petals and music
·
Give him a full body massage
·
NO Granny nightgowns, so if you can’t afford
Victoria’s Secret wear one of his dress
shirt with some heels, your “birth day suit” or use rose petals to cover your
private female organs (Do I need to write a Book …lol)
Places you can
shop for inexpensive negligees:
·
Ross
·
TJmax
·
Marshalls
·
Target
·
Walmart
Don’t be afraid to be spontaneous
and creative.
Did you say, I have a child or
two, or three…??? Then find a trusted friend or family member to
babysit and if all else fails, children do sleep right??? (nod your head and say
yes!!) NO EXCUSE!!
..so I am done preaching, but I will leave you with this communication and
spending quality time is a MUST if you want a successful marriage. Love each
other unconditionally not only on society based holidays but EVERYDAY it is
your duty! Read Books, find a trusted Counselor. There should be no
excuse as to why you can not be the BEST SPOUSE YOU CAN BE! (Proverbs
12:15)
I enjoyed the fellowship with the
brethren but fellowship after the fellowship can not be compared (You’ll get
that one next year).
Peace, Love, & Light!
Mr. & Mrs. King
Marriage is honourable in all,
and the bed undefiled: but whoremongers and adulterers God will judge.
A wise man will hear, and
will increase learning; and a man of understanding shall attain unto wise
counsels:
The way of a fool is right in his
own eyes: but he that hearkeneth unto counsel is wise.
Hear counsel, and receive
instruction, that thou mayest be wise in thy latter end.
